Hi my name is Catherine and I warmly welcome you to my wonderful world of Japanese flower arranging . Mushin is my flower name given to me when I qualified as a Fourth Grade Teacher.  Mushin is the essence of Zen and it means "mind without mind", having a Mushin mind allows me to be fully present, aware and free from any distractions or worries.  This state of mind while practicing Ikebana helps me to connect to nature.
